Mumblings: 15.03.07 - Unfinished Thoughts

This was found lingering as a discarded draft somewhere in the blog. I’m pretty sure I wrote this on two drunken occasions, in two different places, with two different frames of mind. Anyways, for lack of posting, indulge my lazyness… I’ve been doing a lot of other writing lately. Trying to accomplish that novella I proclaimed I’d have done by now. The book is going to be fucked, I mean, if anyone looks at me the same after I release this it’ll be a god damn miracle.

Two pots of coffee will self induce dimensia. Too many shots of vodka will get you pumped to be drunk, but the euphoria is short lived. Brad Neely is a genius. If you don’t know who that is, you should. March Madness started today (old). I’m happy, but not as happy as I used to be. I always go thrifting looking for elaborate blazers. Ones with fine patterns. I always browse the gross discarded artwork. There’s never anything cool though. Just phrases from the bible and pictures of shitty cars. It’s weird, but for once in my life I don’t have some feelings for a girl filtering through my brain (Still, true). Usually someone gets me excited to be alive or either perilless to be without. I’m always in love with a bad idea. Even if it is just the “idea” stage. I’ve come to realize that peanut butter will never lose its youthful appeal. Kraft Dinner also falls into that category. To liven things up at someone’s safe grad they should hold a lottery. Everyone draws a name and if that person gets hauled out first for being too drunk, they win. Despite a lottery, I still had a ton of fun at safe grad. It was probably the best party I’ve ever been to. Two days later I moved to BC. Which is where I live now. My head is fucked in a new direction. I stood at the window looking at the mountains for a half an hour the other day and took stock of my life. This world is as comical as it is frustrating at times. I choose to laugh. E is nice enough to go for long walks by the water with me. She also smiles and laughs at life. Her exuberance is intoxicating and clearly brightens the world around her. I was in Toronto the other week. I came to the conclusion that I never knew Canada until I went to Toronto. Like it or not, shit gets done there. The diversity in one metro explains an entire story of a nation on the rise. I’ve been a lot of places in the last little while and I love every bit of it. I miss Ashly Larson. That girl brilliantly has it all together. She’s one of the few that offers refreshing conversation to inspire. Tyler McNabb + Jay Yeo x Booze (Jack Daniels + Ginger Ale) = MAYHEM! I’m not even going to go into that story….
