Adam Less from Think Marketing in Kelowna, the worst job interview of my life but I learned something about being humbled. Boethius, a great philosopher putting in perfect perspective how life seems to work. Boethius states, “History is a wheelâ€. Think of a wagon wheel or any wheel for that matter. Jump up on my wheel of fortune says the wheel, but as the wheel turns your fortune at the top of the wheel turns to misfortune as you’re cast down into the depths. However, as the wheel keeps turning you will once again be brought back up to the top on the side of fortune and this cyclic pattern will continue until matters end. The good times like the bad times are always passing away. So you see our lives are like the wheel forever turning. I’m glad I’ve learned that no matter how bad the situation may be the good times will eventually come again. Boethius was a smart guy!
Philosopher and economist Adam Smith you taught us the basics for business. Public transportation, yeah I know it seems degrading but you meet, see, and hear some interesting stories. In one bus ride you can really get a feel for what society is. We’ve lost that touch in this world. Ride the bus sometime and instead of talking, listen… Old people, some fascinate me, behind those wrinkles lays a story worth listening to. Okanagan Regional Library Kelowna, a good place to quietly work and great architectural design. Buildings create synergy. They’re a haven for creative thought. While on the subject of buildings a place that will forever seem like a part of me is the Strand Theatre. That was truly my venue for creative understanding and innovation. Everything Mac, great tools. The city of Vancouver. The Okanagan and everything beautiful about it. The family cottage down at Pelican Lake. Dad, thank you for building that. They scoffed at the idea of you building it, but you didn’t give a shit and built it anyways. Now the naysayers love it. That in itself is inspiring. The cottage is your greatest gift to the family.
Anyone who said I wasn’t good enough. I live off people like you. Keep saying it and I’ll keep growing more powerful. “I use my arrogance as steam to power my dreams.â€

All of you have made positive impacts on my life.
