I’m not too impressed with my blog. I like the way it looks and as far as functionality goes it does all right. Every time I feel like posting for some reason it just isn’t doing it for me anymore.

My initial idea with this edition of the blog was to use it as a more advanced venue of expression. After browsing my analog notebook that gets scratched in daily with medium point black pens I came to the conclusion that I was never really that true to myself. I kind of dreamed this new blog would offer an immense appeal to my habit of recording life and I could forget my notebook. Not True. The offline world ads clarity and has an almost nostalgic zest. Kinda like listening to vinyl. My notebook remained full and in recent weeks has surpassed the scribblings on my laptop. The only reason I like my laptop is because I can write longer without my hand cramping up. Well, that and spell check. I’m just too lazy to even figure out how to spell words anymore haha.

Expression always carries the conundrum of revealing too much. Personally, I couldn’t really give a shit what you knew about me but the world is a place full of interaction and ultimately my stories run into the lives of others. As a courtesy I don’t want to subject the lives of friends and family to the eyes of my open world.

To tell the world everything can be regarded as foolish, but I find it dangerously intoxicating as a means of being myself. So as far as the blog goes, well I don’t know what I’m going to do. I have a number of other “blogging projects” on my mind. Perhaps I will just concentrate on those and leave the JayBlog as a means of personal sharing in what’s happening in my life. Oddly enough that is one thing I rarely share haha. You seem to get the emotional brunt, which is crafted, so cryptic nobody knows what’s going on. Sorry.

Time to figure.
